2:12a	Stereotypical MIT Discussion At 2:11 in the morning, after crawling in from the cold after a fire alarm evacuation, we somehow ended up modeling Marxism as a damped harmonic oscillator that goes through one period of oscillation before going to equilibrium (Communist ideology on y-axis, time on x-axis). Communism in practice, though, only goes oscillates through pi/2 before coming to equilibrium. Think we may have to add further exponential decay for very large t, but not sure best way to do this. Perhaps something involving unit step function. I should really go to bed. Current Mood: geeky Current Music: the kooks, so I'm homesick, alright?
